Job DescriptionsJob Purpose:
Manage and execute buyer role for Apple product including product ordering, forecasting, demand planning, product campaign management, and aging-inventory management. To ensure achievement of business direction, sales, and profits.
Main Responsibilities:
-Manage and oversee products in terms of the buyer and merchandiser’s role by focusing on product ordering, product forecasting, demand planning, aging-inventory management, and product campaign management, including sales, profits, margin, and cost-effectiveness for the company.
-Analyze product performance in terms of sales-in & sales-out. Identify products that have negative sales gaps as well as potential products, and work with the Head of retail buyer, Head of operations and Head of marketing to identify an action plan to close the gaps and develop sales revenue.
-Work closely with the marketing team, operation team, and brands side to develop product marketing campaigns and promotions to build sales, profits, and also potential customers.
-Communicate, monitor, and follow up with operations and marketing team to ensure implementation effectiveness of planning and strategy.
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with brands and related stakeholders, clearly understanding their business goals, challenges, and initiatives and operationalizing these into an executable framework., while maintaining an optimum level of planning, and inventory, while maintaining a high level of customer focus and cost-effectiveness.
-Monitor and understand industry best-in-class practices (such as buyer, merchandiser, product sourcing, etc.) and, as appropriate, implement these or appropriate versions of these practices on the retail buyer function of Com7.
-Establish a culture and work environment that promotes and inspires an active, continuous improvement philosophy regarding products and services.
-Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
