Job Descriptions
Industry: Japanese textile manufacturing
Salary: Up to 80K
- Contribute to the Plant Business Plan, focusing on headcount, unit costs, and Return on Assets.
- Plan and coordinate the annual Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Calibration schedule to ensure machine availability aligns with the Weekly Production Schedule.
- Set key performance indicators for engineering, maintenance, and production to minimize machine downtime and inefficiencies. Follow up on solutions to non-conformances to improve machine uptime and production line efficiency.
- Manage budgets for engineering, maintenance, utilities, and facilities while keeping manufacturing unit costs within the plan.
- Develop cost-effective solutions and implement innovative technologies to improve factory operations.
- Lead engineering and maintenance teams across multiple factories, providing strategic guidance and oversight.
- Build a collaborative and skilled team committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Oversee preventive maintenance and facility management to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Reduce energy consumption, especially electricity, through strategic initiatives and new technologies.
- Collaborate with General Managers (GMs) of each factory to ensure alignment with company goals and efficient resource usage.
- Implement and monitor maintenance programs to keep equipment and facilities in top condition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years in project engineering, maintenance, and utility & facility management within manufacturing.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams at all levels, with a forward-thinking mindset to drive change.
- Strong knowledge and experience in managing facilities and equipment in various manufacturing industries.
- Able communication in both of Thai and English.
