Job DescriptionsApplication Support
- Provide daily support to end users in the front, middle and back office.
- Analyze and propose improvements to business processes, system performance and data integrity;
reduce manual processes and increase automation
- Provide hands-on application support for mission critical systems pertaining to:
- Order Management
- Portfolio Accounting
- Compliance
- Clearing/Settlement
- Accounting and Finance
- Manufacturing
- Troubleshoot and resolve workflow discrepancies
- Create/update documentation: policies, procedures, workflows, and user guides
- Work closely with other departments in the implementation of process improvements
- Provide user application and process training
Qualifications - BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field is required
- Knowledge of the SQL syntax
- Object oriented programming experience (VB, .Net, Java, etc. is desired)
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with an emphasis on root cause analysis
- Excellent organizational, teamwork and time management skills
- Ability to work quickly and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to master the design and development of financial and operational reports
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
- Requires ability to handle multiple tasks
- Requires experience with MS Office tools
- May be called upon to perform production support or system rollouts on nights and weekends
- Understanding of the change management process
