Job DescriptionsCatering Unit Manager is a top management of Phuket unit and mainly responsible to overview both managerial and operational tasks and perform himself/herself as the chief of the catering unit. The incumbent must perceive and extend the head office’s policy and direction throughout the unit by propelling every function to perform efficiently and effectively. This shall include the responsibilities in strategic planning, managing, directing and evaluating the taskforces in hands. Another major key concern is to generate revenue to the unit and maintain profitability. He/she shall consist of a good judgment for the right/proper decision making, while need also being able to lead the whole team, analyse and set up the working plan either short or long term to ensure the accomplishment of the company objectives.
Qualifications:
A University degree with 10 years working experience in airline catering, F&B and related field with at least 5 years in management position. Foreigners are welcome.
Good people oriented with strong leadership and managerial skills.
Have excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, and conflict resolution skills.
Keen in analytical, excellent planning and organizational abilities are required.
Be initiative and good in bringing plans into real practice.
“Can do” attitude is compulsory.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good computer skill
Fluent in English
