Job Descriptions
Automation Engineers devise, build up, mount and keep an eye on instrumentation and control systems that sense, quantify and run functioning processes. Their work differs from supervising extensive system projects to contributing know-how on particular portions. An Automation Engineer also devise specification and in depth documentation for their design. They must be great trouble-shooters and must be up to date with the latest technology. Automation Engineers makes sure that field devices, instrumentation system, communication networks and interfaces are working properly. They do regular preventive upholding to make certain that equipment maintain to run smoothly. Automation Engineers also build up and instigate advanced testing methodologies and makes use of a combination of testing techniques. Participates in Kaizen Activities, takes role of leader to be head of projects, and company representative & presenter for any assigned projects and tasks.
Qualifications
  1. Degree or higher in Automation, Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical or Controls Engineering, or a related field.
  2. At least 1 years’ experience in a high volume manufacturing facility with direct responsibility of automated equipment / controls programming and direct report.
  3. Working experience and knowledge of Pneumatics and Hydraulics, Instrumentation, PLC programming - Mitsubishi and Omron preferred,
  4. Basic Solid works and basic AutoCAD or CAD-CAM design and implementation
  5. Ability to understand and update electrical schematics Servo motion control RFID control systems Robot Programming
  6. Strong leadership skills with proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams. Ability to lead, direct, and instruct teams.
  7. Pursues improvement projects with energy, drive and a need to finish.
  8. Sound judgment, good decision making and problem solving skills.
  9. Excellent command of both written and spoken English and computer proficiency.
