Job DescriptionsJob Summary:
Primarily responsible for preparing documents, estimating costs for both onshore and offshore projects, and managing bidding activities following project requirements. This role involves tasks related to the construction engineering section, including reviewing and comparing vendor quotations. Additionally, the position contributes to managing the construction engineering (CE) section, facilitating problem resolution, and promoting work improvements in construction engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare cost estimates for bidding processes.
2. Conduct risk assessments to account for potential deviations from the project plan.
3. Develop bid bases, present budget reports, and prepare project plans.
4. Coordinate with other disciplines to gather individual costs and summarize the overall project cost.
5. Study and analyze project requirement documents to ensure a clear understanding.
6. Prepare Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) documents.
7. Perform initial reviews, clarifications, and comparisons of quotations from vendors.
8. Review the scope of work/specifications and propose bid clarifications as necessary.
9. Contribute to the management of the CE section in alignment with the project plan and company goals.
10. Facilitate problem resolution and drive work improvements in the Construction Engineering sector.
