Job Descriptions
1. Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers.
2. Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies.
3. Manage the company’s supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending.
4. Leads a complex supply chain category; including data and industry analysis; reports results to business executives.
5. Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency.
6. Leads complex Supplier Selection Activities.
7. Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies.
8. Negotiates and completes contracts with highly complex and critical suppliers.
9. Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
10. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the most complex, long-term suppliers.
11. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals.
12. Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency.
13. Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers.
14. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
15. Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques.
16. Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers.
17. Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
18. Submit a request for proposal (RFP) to vendors.
19. Deal with expediting orders when necessary.
20. Sourcing, negotiating, qualifying new suppliers as well as maintaining desired relationships with suppliers both domestically and internationally.
21. Responsible for new supplier introduction and supplier development of new products.
22. Establishes and maintains proper relations with suppliers or their representatives.
23. Other tasks or responsibilities appointed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher majoring in Supply Chain Management or Engineering (preferred), MBA is advantage.
- Experiences in the field of Supply chain Procurement and Sourcing and/or Business Operation.
- Excellent understanding of global procurement processes, industry, and highly complex suppliers.
