Job Descriptions
About the Role: The IT Compliance Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and compliance of our technology infrastructure and operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks. Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance: - Understand and interpret complex regulatory requirements, particularly those related. - Conduct regular assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions. Risk Management: - Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and prioritize IT risks. - Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of potential threats. - Monitor and report on key risk indicators and metrics. Cybersecurity: - Stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate security controls. - Respond to security incidents and conduct investigations as needed. Audit and Compliance: - Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, including regulatory examinations. - Prepare and submit required documentation and reports. - Work with auditors to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  2. 5+ years of experience in IT compliance, risk management, or a similar role
  3. Strong understanding of IT security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Experience with IT audit and control frameworks
  8. Knowledge of cloud technologies and cybersecurity best practices
  9. Certifications in cybersecurity
