Job Descriptions
Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and compliance with both Thai GAAP and US GAAP. This role involves managing a team for two Thai BOI-certified companies, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the company's project-based business model through effective Point of Completion (POC) accounting. Proficiency in English and strong leadership skills are essential. Financial Management & Reporting: - Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for both RPTA and RPTD. - Create and manage cash flow reports, providing weekly updates and ensuring liquidity for operations. - Ensure compliance with Thai GAAP and US GAAP standards, maintaining alignment with international financial practices. - Support annual audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors. Accounting & Compliance: - Manage and maintain all accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions. - Handle invoicing, project reconciliations, and the accurate recording of transactions. - Oversee the timely submission of tax filings and compliance with local regulations, including BOI requirements. Team Leadership & Development: - Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. - Provide training and support to team members, ensuring adherence to company policies and accounting standards. - Liaise with HQ and other departments to ensure smooth communication and alignment on financial goals. Project-Based Accounting: - Implement and oversee Point of Completion (POC) accounting for projects, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and cost management. - Analyze project profitability and provide insights to support decision-making for ongoing and upcoming projects. Cash Flow & Risk Management: - Manage cash flow effectively, forecasting needs and identifying potential risks.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPD certification preferred.
  2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
  3. In-depth knowledge of Thai GAAP and US GAAP.
  4. In-depth knowledge of Thai GAAP and US GAAP.
  5. Experience in project-based accounting, specifically with Point of Completion (POC) models.
  6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  9. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  10. Ability to travel as needed for company meetings or audits.
  11. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues.
  12. Experience working with multinational companies or in a cross-cultural environment is an advantage.
  13. Office-based role, requiring occasional travel for meetings and audits.
