Exciting Job Opportunity: 6-Month Contract with Potential for Permanent Placement" Responsibilities: 1. Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed cost analysis of products, projects, and operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency. 2. Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, ensuring accurate cost allocation and tracking. 3. Reporting: Prepare comprehensive cost reports and present findings to management, providing actionable insights and recommendations. 4. Variance Analysis: Analyze cost variances and investigate root causes, implementing corrective actions as necessary. 5. Inventory Management: Monitor and analyze inventory costs, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting. 6. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance cost management and efficiency. 7. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, procurement, and finance, to ensure accurate cost data and effective cost control. 8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting or a similar role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in cost accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
English: Good command of English
