Job DescriptionsKey Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Food Safety Programs: Design, implement, and maintain food safety management systems, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and other relevant protocols.
Monitoring and Compliance: Conduct regular food safety inspections to ensure that food safety standards are consistently followed in all stages of production, storage, and distribution.
Training and Education: Provide ongoing training and support to staff on food safety best practices, sanitation procedures, and food handling protocols.
Conduct Audits and Inspections: Perform internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA, EFSA, etc.) and corporate standards.
Risk Assessment and Management: Identify potential food safety hazards and work with the team to develop strategies for risk mitigation.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, corrective actions, and other food safety-related activities. Prepare reports for management as required.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with the latest food safety regulations and standards, and ensure that the company adheres to these requirements.
Incident Management: Investigate and address any food safety incidents, contamination, or product recalls, ensuring timely corrective actions.
