Job Descriptions

A production engineer is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production process in a manufacturing facility. Their primary goal is to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production of goods. Carry out its day-to-day activities, in accordance with the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management Systems, following the procedures and instructions of the SGI, aiming at obtaining maximum efficiency in the results and, consequently, being in compliance with the certification standards. Main responsibilities 1. Process Design and Improvement : 1.1 Production engineers identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the production process, improving overall efficiency and reducing waste. 1.2 Analyze existing production processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. 1.3 Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. 1.4 Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions. 1.5 Support the transition of new products into production. 2. Team Management : 2.1 Supervise and coordinate the work of production teams. 2.2 Provide training and guidance to production staff. 2.3 Motivate and empower employees to achieve production goals. 3. Capacity Planning : 3.1 determine future production needs based on market demand and sales forecasts. 3.2 ensure that the factory has the necessary resources (equipment, materials, labor) to meet production targets. 4. Quality Control : 4.1 Monitor product quality and identify defects. 4.2 Implement corrective actions to address quality issues. 5. Safety : 5.1 Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines. 5.2 Conduct safety inspections and hazard assessments

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing) or related field.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of manufacturing methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
Experience 2-5 years working in Improving overall efficiency and OEE.
Experience 2-5 years working in Robot or automation systems for improving productivity.
Experience 2-5 years working in implement strategies for continuous improvement, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
