Job Descriptions
1.Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of insulation or extractive workers. 2.Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs. 3.Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs. 4.Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensure that specifications are met. 5.Record information such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports. 6.Provide assistance to workers engaged in construction or extraction activities, using hand tools or other equipment. 7.Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans. 8.Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities. 9.Order or requisition materials or supplies. 10.Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, or company policies. 11.Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities. 12.Arrange for repairs of equipment or machinery. 13.Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, using measuring and marking equipment.
Qualifications
  1. Proven experience as construction foreman
  2. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines
  3. Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
  4. Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
  5. Ability to communicate and report effectively
  6. Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  7. High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc.)
