Department: Finance
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
The Financial Officer will be responsible for managing the organization's day-to-day financial operations. This includes overseeing forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Financial Officer will also work closely with other departments to optimize the organization's financial performance and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Analysis
Assist in the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts.
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
Report on financial performance and prepare financial reports regularly.
2. Financial Reporting
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Prepare reports for senior management, shareholders, and regulatory bodies as required. Manage and ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external auditors.
3. Cash Flow Management
Monitor and manage the organization's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.
4. Cost Control
Monitor spending against budgets and provide variance analysis.
Recommend cost-saving initiatives and financial efficiency improvements.
5. Financial Systems & Tools
Manage and maintain financial systems and software.
Ensure accurate data entry and reporting from all financial tools.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional qualification (CPA, CFA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in financial management, analysis, or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and financial tools.
