Job Descriptions
Key Responsibilities -Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and business alignment. -Process Improvement: Design and optimise accounting systems and workflows for efficiency and scalability. -Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to tax laws, accounting standards, and manage audit processes. -Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture. -Cash Flow & Budgeting: Oversee cash flow management and budget planning, ensuring financial stability. -Collaboration: Partner with leadership to drive business strategy and provide financial insights. Preferred Qualifications CPD or equivalent accounting certification. Experience with setting up accounting systems and workflows in a startup. Familiarity with tax planning, auditing, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  5. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
  7. Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
  8. Must own a personal laptop for work.
