Job Descriptions
To lead, advise, support, and manage projects related to legal matters in the Investment Consulting service business. Evaluate projects for legal, sales, and marketing considerations within business operations. Achieve the objectives of the Japanese company and its affiliates by managing and developing business opportunities using leadership skills and professional knowledge.
Working day and time: Monday to Friday 8.30AM - 5.30PM
•Lead, manage, and supervise the operation of the legal team
•Draft and review legal documents, contracts, agreements, stock certificates, and other documents, including but not limited to Joint Venture Agreements
•Create legal investment structures for projects to propose to clients
•Identify potential legal risks and issues, provide proactive legal advice to the company's management, and initiate and pursue legal proceedings and actions
•Address questions and requests from foreign clients and domestic partners, including but not limited to Japanese investors, regarding legal documents, market research, and consulting service benefits
•Continuously research legal resources such as articles, codes, statutes, Judicial decisions, and more to stay up-to-date on all current Thai laws and codes
•Manage legal affairs within the organization
Qualifications
- Having at least 3-5 years of legal experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Fluent in Thai, and Business level in English preferred*
- Having experience in investment or M&A advisory within a professional legal firm, advisory firm, investment bank, securities firm, or real estate business is preferable
- Having experience in project management for cross-border projects is preferable
- Having a Lawyer license, Thai Barrister at Law, or Master of Law is preferred
