Job DescriptionsSummary:
The QA Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control within the beverage production environment. This includes ensuring product safety and compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, implementing and maintaining quality systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement comprehensive Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with industry best practices (e.g., ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000).
•Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with QMS procedures and identify areas for improvement.
•Oversee all aspects of product quality, including raw material inspection, in-process control, finished goods inspection, and laboratory testing.
•Investigate and resolve quality issues promptly and effectively, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
•Manage the quality laboratory, including equipment calibration, method validation, and staff training.
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation.
•Collaborate with production, R&D, and procurement departments to ensure product quality and consistency.
•Conduct training programs for production staff on quality procedures, food safety practices, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
•Stay abreast of relevant food safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
•Represent the company on quality-related matters with customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
•Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, such as defect rates, customer complaints, and audit findings.
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
