Job Descriptions
1.Boiler Operations: Operate, monitor, and maintain steam boilers to ensure continuous and efficient steam supply for dyeing and other production processes. Conduct daily inspections of the boiler to ensure smooth functionality and safety.
2.Maintenance & Repairs: Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance of boilers, burners, and associated equipment. Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and ensure minimal downtime.
3.Steam Supply Management: Regulate steam pressure and flow based on the production needs of the dyeing department. Troubleshoot and resolve steam supply issues promptly to avoid production interruptions.
4.Safety Compliance: Ensure boilers are operated following safety regulations and industry standards. Regularly inspect safety valves, gauges, and alarms to ensure proper functioning. Maintain emergency procedures and readiness for boiler-related incidents.
5.Energy Efficiency: Monitor Gas consumption and optimize boiler operations to achieve maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Identify and implement energy-saving measures to reduce utility costs.
6.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, Gas usage, and water treatment results. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for review.
7.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all boiler operations meet government regulations and industry certifications. Coordinate with inspection authorities for periodic inspections and certification renewals.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Boiler Operations, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operating and maintaining industrial boilers, preferably in a textile or dyeing industry.
- Boiler Attendant/Operator Certificate as per local regulations (If have).
