Job Descriptions1. Accounting Systems & Policies:
* Design, implement, and oversee the company's accounting system, ensuring compliance with Thai financial regulations and tax laws.
* Establish and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risks and enhance efficiency.
* Drive process improvements and implement advanced technologies or ERP systems to streamline operations.
2. Financial Accounting:
* Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
* Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
* Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax filings.
* Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
3. Managerial Accounting:
* Develop budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
* Calculate and analyze the cost of goods sold (COGS) and profitability of the business.
* Monitor and control branch expenses, promotions, and break-even points.
* Provide financial insights to support business growth and strategic initiatives.
4. Strategic Financial Support:
* Analyze and present financial data to support pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and cost optimization projects.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
* Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure operational and strategic stability.
5. Team Development & Leadership:
* Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members to foster a high-performing and growth-oriented culture.
* Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with corporate governance and regulatory standards.
* Build a succession plan and create training opportunities for team members.
