Job Descriptions

•To support production activities, to ensure stable of the production process and to help achieve department goals and/or KPI’s matrices. •Establish engineering, production and quality control standards to meet with quality and customer requirements. •Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve manufacturing processes or products or to reduce costs, using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts. •Identify and implement opportunities for improving workplace safety and ergonomics. •Perform administrative activities associated with the effective management of the shop floor, including compiling, storing and retrieving manufacturing data for reports. •Develop training plans for production team. •Establish a production activity plan and report daily/weekly/monthly basis against the plan. •Troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes •Enable support, update to working standard documents and training initiatives that ensure all assigned employees are aware of and comply with manufacturing process, procedures and regulations, company policies or government regulations as well as customer policies/requirements. •Provide technical support to the team through the specification, requirement, equipment and/or methods required. •Be able to stand by in case of production problems which need to be fixed on urgent basis. •Work upon supervisor’s assignments or any other job duties as assign

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Production, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering and/or related field; advanced degree highly desirable.
More than 3 years of experience in manufacturing industrial with supervisory role and responsibility in leading production team
Knowledge of design techniques, QC tools, and principals involved in manufacturing process, drawings or models.
Knowledge and experience with Continuous Improvement tools ie. Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other methodologies required.
Knowledge and experience in ISO9001, ISO/TS16949, ISO 45001 or ISO 14001 or AS9100 or related quality management systems.
Good command of English language in reading, written and presentation are required.
Demonstrable expertise with MS Office including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Ability to define plan for improvement, controlling and deliver project deliverables and appraisal.
Can-do attitude with proven leadership and teambuilding skills
Strong in analytical skills, problems solving, strategic thinking to scope tasks and set goals as well as tactical execution.
Strong communication and presentation skills
Other required personal skills include good listening skills, coaching/ mentoring skills and & follow-through ability.
