Job Descriptions
- The Science & Technology Staff is responsible for preparing and managing product samples, ensuring quality through various testing methods, and supporting trials and research activities.
- This role involves coordinating with different departments, handling inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
- This role is also responsible for Science & Technology research scouting and proof-of-concept trials to explore new or emerging science & technology opportunities in Asia
- The role is split 50:50 between supporting trials and technology scouting.
- This role will be combination of doing trial supports (including preparing materials for trials, conduct lab analysis) and technology scouting/proof of concept of technology development. It will be 50:50 split.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in field of Food Science, Food Technology, Science or Engineering.
- 1-2 years’ experience in food factory, research and development background is preferable.
- Competent in English communication (written, speaking)
- If the candidates can read and speak Chinese is preferableIf the candidates can read and speak Chinese is preferable
- Able to conduct literature searches in English using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) and able to summarize content in literatures to publish report and presentations.
- Good planning and action oriented.
- Good communication skills.
- Scientific methods and mindset
