Job Descriptions

1. Research & Development: - Design and develop new products, processes, and technologies for manufacturing. - Conduct experiments to validate design concepts and improve existing processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new products or technologies into the manufacturing process. 2. Product/Process Design: - Develop detailed specifications, drawings, and prototypes for new products. - Optimize product designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability. - Implement and test new materials, components, or technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency. 3. Testing & Validation: - Develop and execute test plans to ensure products meet required standards and performance criteria. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the development phase and after deployment in production. - Analyze test results, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. 4. Collaboration: - Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure that products and processes are feasible for mass production. - Collaborate with suppliers and external partners for sourcing materials or technology. - Provide technical support to other departments, including production, quality assurance, and engineering. 5. Process Improvement: - Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction in manufacturing processes. - Introduce new technologies or automation to enhance manufacturing capabilities. 6. Documentation & Reporting: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of design, testing, and development activities. - Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instrument Engineering.
Experience with product design, process optimization, and prototype testing is often required.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, molding, coating, or painting is beneficial.
Proficiency in CAD and simulation software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.).
Knowledge of materials science and process engineering.
Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies like 3D printing, CNC, robotics, and automation.
Familiarity with data analysis tools and programming languages (MATLAB, Python, etc.) is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with different teams and stakeholder.
