Job Descriptions
Quality Control & Assurance:
•Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans and procedures across the entire assembly line.
•Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify potential issues.
•Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
•Monitor and control the use of materials and components to ensure they meet quality specifications.
•Manage the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment.
Process Improvement:
•Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
•Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives, such as Six Sigma or Kaizen, to minimize defects and waste .
•Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize assembly processes.
Team Leadership & Development:
•Lead and mentor a team of Quality department.
•Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the quality team.
•Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the assembly line.
Customer Satisfaction:
•Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding quality expectations.
•Investigate and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively.
•Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
Quality System:
•Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, industry-specific standards).
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the home appliance industry.
- Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving techniques.
- Experienced with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with ISO 9001 or IATF16949, and/or ISO14001 or other quality management systems.
- Knowledge of robotics and automation in manufacturing
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Six Sigma experienced is preferred.
