Job Descriptions
BOI Management: • Lead the application, renewal, and management of BOI privileges, including tax exemptions, import duty waivers, and other incentives. • Ensure compliance with BOI regulations by preparing and submitting required reports and documentation on time. • Liaise with BOI officers and government representatives to resolve issues and maintain good relations. • Monitor updates to BOI policies and provide strategic recommendations to maximize benefits for the company. • Oversee the progress of BOI-approved projects and ensure they meet all conditions outlined by BOI approval. Customs Compliance and Operations: • Manage all import and export activities, ensuring full compliance with Thai customs regulations. • Oversee the preparation and submission of customs declarations and other required documentation. • Utilize BOI duty exemptions effectively to minimize the cost of imported machinery, raw materials, and other goods. • Handle customs audits, inspections, and related inquiries to avoid penalties and ensure smooth operations. • Maintain accurate records of all customs and BOI-related transactions for reporting and auditing purposes. Leadership and Coordination: • Collaborate with internal teams to implement BOI and customs-related processes. • Lead, train, and mentor a team to ensure the smooth execution of BOI and customs compliance tasks. • Act as a key advisor to senior management on BOI and customs-related matters, including potential risks and opportunities.
Qualifications
  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
  2. Experience: 1.Minimum 5-8 years of experience in BOI project management and customs compliance. 2.Proven track record of working with government agencies such as the BOI and customs authorities.
  3. Knowledge: 1.In-depth understanding of BOI policies, investment promotion regulations, and customs laws in Thailand.2.Familiarity with import/export procedures, supply chain management, and logistics operations.
  4. Skills: 1.Strong leadership and team management skills. 2.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 3.Effective communication and relationship-building abilities with government officials and internal teams. 4.Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems related to customs and logistics management.
  5. Language: Fluent in English and Thai (written and spoken).
  6. Strategic thinking and the ability to maximize benefits for the organization
