Job Descriptions
1.Process Design and Development: •Collaborate with design and develop teams for new process concept to production team. •Create detailed CAD models, technical drawings, and design specifications as needed. •Conduct process validation to evaluate the design processes and ensure manufacturability. •Collaborate with the product development team to ensure new products meet aesthetic, functional, and market requirements. •Collaborate with teams to execute the prototyping process, methods including 3D printing. •Conduct thorough testing of prototypes to validate design concepts and functionality. •Analyze test results, identify issues, and recommend design modifications. •Document and report test findings to support decision-making. •Initaiate costing for new products and periodically review. 2.Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: * Identify, analyze, and resolve issues encountered during the NPD process. * Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address process failures. * Provide technical support to the production team during initial product runs and troubleshooting activities. 3. Documentation and Compliance: * Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for new product designs, including design specifications, test reports, and process instructions. * Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards and regulations. * Support the development and implementation of NPD processes and procedures.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
  2. 3-5 years of experience in product/process development, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  3. Strong understanding of product design and development principles.
  4. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, AutoCAD) and data analysis tools.
  5. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  7. Strong communication and project management abilities.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  9. Strong knowledge of Process Validation (ISO13485, ISO/TS16949) and analysis of experimental results.
