Job Descriptions
•Managing new product introduction and changes from 'cradle to grave'. This will require involvement in pre-award project planning through to handover and support post-job. •Understanding and delivering customer requirements for samples and document submissions and ensuring all customer needs are satisfied. •Maintaining clear project documentation including report outs to broader global teams. •Generating and championing 'open issues' lists. •Planning a project to accomplish its goal within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards. •Leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of all processes used to manufacture the specific product of the project. •Participating in validation activities of specific products of the project. •Following the company's rules and standard document. •Maintaining the 5S & housekeeping. •Participating and promoting cost reductions, continuous improvement activities, Health and Safety awareness, and adherence to IATF16949 systems. •Complying with applicable SHE legal and other requirements. •Stopping production line if there are any problems, which affect quality. •Authorizing shutdown of operations or any activity if there is an uncontrolled event that has or can reasonably be expected to have a potential negative impact on the environment or the safety of employees and the public. •Any approvals will be authorized by the Engineering Manager. •Ensuring producing the best quality components sent to customers.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Engineering or related field.
  2. At least 3 years’ experience in automotive manufacturing is preferred in 1st tier.
  3. Problem-solving and process improvement capabilities.
  4. Strong knowledge of IATF16949 and proven quality experience.
  5. Ability to read technical drawings (GD&T).
  6. Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
