Job Descriptions
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for indirect goods and services.
  • Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Conduct purchasing activities in compliance with company policies and procedures, including request for quotations (RFQs), purchase orders and supplier contracts.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms, adherence to budgets and compliance with Ducati’s quality and ethical standards.
  • Perform market research to stay informed of trends, new suppliers and better purchasing opportunities in the indirect procurement sector.
  • Continuously evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, cost and initiate improvements when necessary.
  • Create and release order from purchase requisition in SAP checking the required documentations in line with Ducati procedures.
  • Prepare and present to region sourcing committee meeting tenders on Volkswagen indirect procurement application "Globe" according group procedures.
    • Qualifications
    1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field.
    2. Experience in supplier management, cost optimization, and contract negotiation.
    3. Strong knowledge in market research and analysis, risk management, and budget planning.
    4. Ability in business travel coordination, problem-solving and decision-making.
    5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to drive effective supplier collaboration.
    6. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
