Job Descriptions
The Bushing Technician is responsible for performing bushing installation and reaming on landing gear components according to the relevant manuals, including Part Instructions, CMM, and SOPM. The role ensures that all tasks are carried out accurately, adhering to safety regulations and quality standards. •Perform bushing installation on all landing gear components in accordance with the manuals and technical instructions provided. •Ream bushings to the required dimensions as per inspection records or related engineering orders. •Maintain high-quality standards and meet workload expectations. •Conduct inspections of parts and bushings before installation to ensure compliance with technical specifications. •Execute order-related duties as assigned by the senior technician or supervisor. •Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety. •Follow all company safety rules, regulations, and procedures. •Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed or directed by the supervisor or senior technician
Qualifications
  1. 1-3 years or more of experience in aviation or machining; experience with landing gear components is an advantage.
  2. Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  3. Familiarity with common mechanical tools and equipment.
  4. Experience with precision measuring equipment (PME), such as micrometers, vernier calipers, or bore gauges.
  5. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, maintenance instructions, and manuals.
  6. Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when required.
  7. Basic computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  8. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  9. Willingness to work overtime or on weekends if necessary to meet workload demands.
  10. Adaptability and flexibility in managing various tasks and responsibilities.
  11. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
