Job Descriptions
•Operations and Logistics
oManage the daily performance of a drill crew.
oMaintain clean and safe work site and equipment.
oFunctional knowledge of all types of exploration drilling.
oTroubleshoot problems and be solution orientated.
oPlan and complete preventative maintenance to maximise equipment production;
oEnsure personal and crew compliance with Company WHS regulations and site-specific rules.
oProvide guidance and training to Drillers assistants and Trainee drillers.
•Health and Safety
oHazard identification, risk assessment and mitigation measures.
oEnsure that crew has a safe working environment.
oMaintain a harmonious workplace.
•Management skills
oExcellent coordinating skills in order to ensure optimum production
oMust be thorough planner and be able to execute the planned operation.
oThouroug knowledge about RC and Diamond rig operations and safety measures
oTeam management and excellent communication skills
oGood analyses and ability to multitasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years experience in Drilling Industry
- Experience with RC & Diamond Drilling
- Level III HSE Management
- English 4 Skills
- Cert IV in Drilling Operation
