Job Descriptions

1. Lead Installation and Testing •Oversee installation of VMS components, including LED panels, controllers, power supplies, and network devices. •Ensure system power-up, network connectivity, and functional checks. 2. Lead Site Standalone Installation Test •Conduct component-level tests (display functionality, power verification, and communication testing). •Confirm independent operation of VMS before integration into the broader system. 3. Lead Subsystem Interface and Test •Manage interface testing between the VMS System and TMCS, roadside equipment, and master clock system. •Identify and resolve technical integration issues affecting real-time data exchange. 4. Lead Interface Test •Validate real-time message updates between the VMS System and TMCS. •Ensure compliance with communication protocols such as NTCIP, TCP/IP, and other relevant industry standards. •Conduct failover, redundancy, and performance tests to ensure system reliability. 5. Collaborate with the Software GUI Team •Work closely with the Software GUI team to define user interface requirements for VMS control and monitoring. •Provide technical data, operational use cases, and system feedback to enhance GUI functionality. •Ensure that the GUI effectively controls and displays VMS messages, real-time status, and diagnostics. •Support GUI testing and validation to ensure seamless integration with VMS hardware and TMCS.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering, IT, or related field.
5+ years of experience in VMS system installation, testing, and commissioning.
Strong knowledge of VMS technology, ITS integration, and network communication protocols.
Experience working with software development teams for GUI integration.
Leadership, troubleshooting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Work at motorway project sites with travel to Traffic Control Centers.
Possible night shifts and weekend work during testing phases.
