Job Descriptions
SEO Strategy Support - Conduct keyword research to identify high-value opportunities for content and optimization. - Analyze competitor strategies and report findings to the SEO Manager. - Assist in creating SEO roadmaps and strategies for new and ongoing client projects. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: - Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and search engine visibility using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Analytics. - Prepare weekly reports summarizing campaign performance, keyword movements, and key trends. - Identify issues (e.g., ranking drops, low CTR) and flag them to the SEO Manager with actionable insights On-Page SEO Optimization: - Audit existing content for SEO optimization, including titles, meta descriptions, and internal linking recommendations. - Suggest content enhancements to improve performance and align with client goals. - Collaborate with the Content Strategist to ensure all new content is optimized before publication. Technical SEO Assistance - Monitor and report basic technical SEO issues like broken links, crawl errors, and indexing problems. - Work with the technical SEO outsourcing partner to track progress on advanced site fixes. - Conduct basic audits of sitemaps, robots.txt files, and canonical tags as needed. Backlink Monitoring: - Maintain a backlink report to track links acquired from manual outreach or outsourced efforts. - Identify toxic or spammy backlinks and recommend disavow actions. - Assist with link-building outreach campaigns when required (e.g., guest blogging or content partnerships). Collaboration and Communication: - Work closely with the Content Strategist to align keyword strategies and content optimization. - Provide regular updates to the SEO Manager on task progress and results. - Participate in team meetings to share insights, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications
  1. 1+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, web development or a related field (experience with SEO internships or coursework is acceptable)
  2. Basic understanding of search engine optimization principles and techniques
  3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  6. Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Moz (experience with these tools is a plus) is preferred
  7. Passion for learning and staying updated on the latest SEO trends and technologies
  8. Eagerness to grow and develop a career in SEO
  9. Preferred - Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for troubleshooting on-page elements
  10. Preferred - Experience with backlink monitoring or link-building campaigns.
  11. Preferred - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
