Job Descriptions
Customs Specialist Responsibilities & Duties Classifying and valuing imported goods in accordance with customs regulations Identify the imported goods HS Codes and Duty and taxs Knows how to apply the Government Permits base on import Goods (Like FDA Etc) Preparing and submitting customs declarations and other required documentation Communicating with government agencies to resolve customs-related issues Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all customs transactions Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with customs regulations Staying up-to-date on changes in customs regulations and procedures Maintainance customs document management and monitor that all databases are properly maintained and up to date Proficiency in customs clearance software and electronic data interchange (EDI) systems.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor Degree
  2. Strong knowledge of Thai customs laws, regulations, and trade compliance procedures.
  3. Experience with trade agreements (e.g. Free Trade Agreements, GATT, etc.)
  4. Knowledge of import/export regulations, procedures and documentation requirements
  5. Fluency in a second language, particularly English
  6. 3+ years of experience in customs clearance and compliance
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customs management software
