Job Descriptions
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to manage and expand our relationships with freight forwarders, trucking companies, customs brokers, and shipping lines in Thailand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supplier negotiations, pricing strategies, cost reduction, and service quality management. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, trucking companies, customs brokers, and shipping lines. Conduct business visits and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive costs and service efficiency. Monitor and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. Analyze market trends and provide strategic recommendations to optimize logistics operations. Oversee supplier qualification and performance assessment to maintain high service standards. Coordinate with internal teams to align logistics strategies with business objectives. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree
  2. 3-5 years of experience in the freight forwarding or shipping industry.
  3. Thai nationality with fluency in Thai and English (Chinese language proficiency is a plus).
  4. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proven ability to develop and manage supplier relationships.
  6. Analytical mindset with experience in cost reduction and service quality management.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and logistics management tools.
