Job Descriptions
Job Summary Develop and implement safety, health and environmental (SHE) practices to ensure alignment to global DKSH safety policy and local/international safety standards General Responsibilities Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources Monitor the implementation of safety, health and environmental (SHE) practices to ensure alignment to global DKSH safety policy and local/international safety standards Conduct regular occupational safety, health and environment inspections; and suggest proactive measures to prevent accidents and incidents Track and monitor incidents and accidents and identify corrective actions Monitor waste minimization initiatives to ensure alignment with environmental laws and government regulations Conduct hazard identification and risk analysis both for safety and environmental aspects Coordinate and conduct training on relevant safety, health and environmental (SHE) policies, procedures, and activities to ensure consistent implementation Coordinate and work with government agencies and regulatory bodies in adhering to their requirements and complying with its laws and regulations Coordinate with other functions i.e. Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management for the implementation of the policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
Qualifications
- Education : Diploma/certificate in Science, Chemistry, Pharma or related disciplinesCertified training in industry quality, health, safety and environment (QHSE) and regulatory standards
- Demonstrate good knowledge of dangerous goods regulations and safety data sheets (SDS)
- Demonstrate basic understanding of the global harmonized system (GHS) and REACH
- Demonstrate a working knowledge, comprehension and application of local regulations on safety, health and environmental (SHE)
- Proven know-how and knowledge of transport safety and dangerous goods management
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
