Job DescriptionsThis position is responsible for managing and coordinating all HSE matters related to the project team members and contractors, ensuring compliance with project HSE requirements, local regulations, codes, and other relevant policies and guidelines during the machine installation phase.
Review, inspect, and validate engineering deliverables for machine installation to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
•Manage and control safety execution at the project site, monitor activities by the contractor and verify the works and work procedure meet relevant HSE requirements and guidelines.
•Prepare and review project HSE deliverables such as Project/Contractor HSE Management Plan, and prepare and review relevant project HSE procedures, Environmental Management Procedures, and any other HSE-related documents.
•Ensure that the approved HSE management system is followed by all the Project Team and the contractor.
•Monitor and control HSE of Projects to ensure it is within time, requirement and quality as planned.
•Manage health, safety, environment, security, and emergency for each phase of the Project, and achieve safe project completion.
•Provide consultation and advice on safety regulations, unsafe condition / unsafe action to employee, contractors and third parties (e.g., Risk Assessment, Job Safety Environment Analysis (JSEA), toolbox meeting). Report and follow up corrective/preventive actions by checking and recording the results.
•Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures. Maintain accident records and analyze trends to identify areas for improvement.
•Provide safety training to employees on various topics, including hazard communication, personal protective equipment (PPE), safe work practices, and emergency procedures. Maintain training records.
•Perform a comprehensive safety inspection of the work area.
•Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and policy.
