Job Summary Perform service support related to data center hosting, design, management, disaster recovery services, service level management for the Group-wide/in-country infrastructure hosting General Responsibilities
  • Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
  • Analyze, evaluate and perform quick recovery and work-arounds to incidents/problems reported and escalate issues in a timely manner where needed
  • Check and monitor hosting hardware and facilities to ensure they are operating at normal conditions and performance
  • Perform routine checks and ongoing assessments on buildings' operational systems to ensure availability
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all building equipment including power supplies, cabling and rack management
  • Participate in business recovery planning in the event of a disaster
  • Ensure service level adherence
  • Build strong working partnerships with other IT stakeholders
  • Qualifications
    1. Demonstrate basic knowledge of data center facilities, operations and support
    2. Experience in operating a data center hosting environment, preferably with similar equipment used by DKSH
    3. Familiarity with IT service management processes
    4. Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities, especially in cross-country/culture interactions
    5. Proven competencies in handling confidential/sensitive information in an appropriate and secure manner
    6. Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
    7. Be abreast of the latest data center facilities
    8. Proven basic numeracy and excellent quantitative analysis skills
    9. Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
    10. Education Diploma in Computing/ Information Technology or its equivalent
