Job DescriptionsPosition Overview: Accounting Manager to join our offshore construction team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our offshore projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective cost management.
Key Responsibilities:
•Financial Management: Oversee all accounting functions, including AR AP GL fixed assets register, and taxes.
•Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements in compliance with Thai accounting standards and IFRS.
•Tax Compliance and Planning: Ensure all tax filings and payments are completed on time, including corporate income tax, value-added tax (VAT), and withholding tax. Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
•Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts, analyzing variances, and recommending corrective actions as needed.
•Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
•Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
•Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, standards, and policies, including GAAP
•Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors during audits and manage the auditor relationships to facilitate smooth audit processes.
•Team Management: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance on accounting issues and professional development.
•Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making by management, analyzing trends, and providing insights into financial performance.
•Policy Development: Develop and update accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
•Stakeholder Communication: Interface with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure effective financial management and reporting.
