Job DescriptionsJoin our team as a Technical Support Specialist and become a pivotal part of enhancing customer experiences through expert technical support and innovative solutions. In this role, you'll leverage advanced tools like Wireshark to diagnose and resolve complex network issues, deliver personalized training sessions, and develop key technical documentation to streamline operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Work primarily based in Bangkok.
Technical Support & Problem Solving;
o Analyze and verify customer complaint issues based on feedback and provide timely feedback to HQ for further action;
o Assist customers with troubleshooting network-related problems using tools like Wireshark and Omnipeek;
o Provide on-site and remote technical support to resolve network, device, and application issues, especially those related to protocols (TCP, DHCP, PPPoE) and access technologies (DSL/PON).
Customer Training & Empowerment:
o Conduct customer training sessions to enhance their understanding of products and network configurations;
o Optimize and prepare local product training documents based on customer needs;
o Demonstrate new products and provide technical training to local sales and customer service teams.
Product Documentation & Support Materials:
o Create and maintain FAQ documents addressing common customer issues.
o Produce technical training videos (e.g., product introductions, configuration tutorials, software upgrades) as per the product launch schedule.
Customer Feedback & Improvement:
o Collect and assess customer feedback to identify areas for product improvement;
o Collaborate with HQ to suggest and review potential firmware or product configuration improvements based on common issues;
o Maintain strong communication with the HQ team to ensure swift problem resolution and ongoing customer satisfaction.
Qualifications - Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in in Computer Science, Networking, Telecommunication or a related technical field.
- Proficient in network analysis tools (Wireshark, Omnipeek) and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- In-depth understanding of network protocols (TCP, DHCP, PPPoE) and access technologies (DSL/PON), as well as wireless network principles.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems like Windows and Linux, with hands-on experience in setting up servers (e.g., AD, FTP, Web).
- Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is a must.
- Preferred Certifications: CCNA, HCNA, or equivalent certifications and above related to networking and communication equipment.
