Job Descriptions
•Manage and coordinate all import and export operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations. •Supervise the preparation and review of all necessary documentation, including but not limited to: commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs declarations. •Ensure accurate classification of goods according to Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes. •Stay up-to-date on changes in import/export regulations, trade agreements, and tariffs, and communicate these changes to relevant departments. •Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other third-party logistics providers to arrange for the efficient and timely transportation of goods. •Negotiate contracts and rates with service providers to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. •Coordinate with internal departments, including production, warehouse, and sales, to ensure smooth flow of goods and timely delivery to customers. •Manage and resolve any issues or delays related to import/export operations, such as customs delays, shipping discrepancies, or regulatory compliance issues. •Maintain accurate records of all import/export activities, including shipping documents, customs filings, and related correspondence. •Develop and implement import/export procedures and processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance. •Conduct regular audits of import/export activities to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations. •Prepare reports on import/export activities, costs, and performance metrics for management review. •Train and supervise import/export staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about relevant regulations and procedures.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in supply chain management or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Import & Export role from home appliance manufacturing.
  3. Experience in import/export regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance requirements
  4. Able to work on Saturday.
