Job Descriptions
•Monitor and improve quality performance of assigned product modules (e.g., inner cabinet, doors, control panels, motor modules, etc.). •Analyze module-related defects from production lines, field returns, and customer complaints; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). •Work closely with suppliers, manufacturing, and R&D to address module-specific quality issues and drive improvement actions. •Lead quality improvement projects using tools such as 8D, FMEA, 5Why, Fishbone, and PDCA. •Participate in new product development (NPD) or engineering change projects (ECR/ECO), focusing on module validation and reliability. •Conduct process audits, product inspections, and capability studies (Cp/Cpk) for critical module-related features. •Maintain and update control plans, inspection standards, and module-specific quality documentation. •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve quality KPIs such as FPY (First Pass Yield), PPM (Parts per Million), and customer satisfaction score.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in quality engineering or process improvement in the home appliance or automotive industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of quality tools (SPC, MSA, 8D, FMEA, control plans).
  4. Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret technical requirements.
  5. Familiarity with manufacturing processes relevant to modules such as injection molding, metal stamping, welding, and assembly.
  6. Experience with ISO 9001, or equivalent quality systems.
  7. Proficient in MS Office and quality analysis software (Minitab, QC tools).
