Job Descriptions
1. Manage the laboratory team and drive EHS and Q mindset 2. Responsible for daily quality inspections for incoming, in-process and finished product 3. Develop and optimize laboratory test methods 4. Operate and trouble shooting of laboratory equipment, as well as, maintain equipment in good condition 5. Coordinate for preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment 6. Qualify laboratory personnel, ensuring team accuracy 7. Provide color adjustment guidance to color matcher in order to adjust formulation to be on specification 8. Develop color masterbatch sample in cooperation with customers 9. Handling Non-conformance material handling, investigation and corrective action 10. Handling Customer Compliant Investigation and corrective action 11. Support Sales and R&D through technical inquiries and RLW as needed 12. Participate in meeting with customers and suppliers as needed 13. Set up and maintain ISO requirements and documented procedures to ensure all results are accurate and reliable for reporting purposes
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or in a related scientific field.
  2. 7+ year of experience in in laboratory or R&D as laboratory manager, laboratory supervisor or R&D.
  3. 3+ year of experience in quality control of plastic compounding industry and experience injection molding is preferred.
  4. 1+ year of Color matching experience
  5. TOEIC score min 700 or equivalent.
  6. Polymer, Plastic, Pigment and Additive knowledge
  7. Computer knowledge - Oracle
  8. Quality Control System Knowledge
  9. HACCP knowledge & ISO 9001
