Job Descriptions
1. Functional Responsibilities: - Work closely with the company to align quality goals with production objectives - Collaborate with vendors and production teams to ensure products meet quality standards - Liaise with external testing labs to ensure products comply with international safety and quality standards - Oversee communication with the Quality Assurance teams in other regions to ensure consistency across global operations 2. Quality Control Implementation: - Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Control (QC) processes throughout the production cycle - Implement corrective actions for any identified defects or quality issues 3. Product Testing & Certification: - Oversee the product testing process for Thailand vendors / factories, ensuring that all products comply with international safety standards 4. Supplier Quality Management: - Conduct regular audits of factories to ensure compliance with company quality standards - Ensure factories implement corrective actions - Monitor factory performance 5. Inspection & Monitoring: - Oversee the inspection of raw materials and finished products - Manage final inspections 6. Reporting & Documentation: - Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities - Provide regular reports to regional and UK management - Ensure all documentation is prepared and maintained for regulatory compliance and internal audits 7. Continuous Improvement Initiatives: - Drive continuous improvement in quality management processes and systems - Work with factories and internal teams to implement best practices to ensure quality products 8. Team Leadership & Development: - Lead and train the Quality Control team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively - Develop and implement training programs for the QC team, and factories, to enhance quality control procedures
Qualifications
  1. Minimum 10+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in the toy or garment industry
  2. Graduate level in Textile Technology or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related fields.
  3. Certifications in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISO 9001) are an advantage
  4. Strong knowledge of international safety and quality standards (e.g., EN71, ASTM F963)
  5. Experience in implementing quality management systems (QMS) and conducting quality audits
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  7. Excellent communication skills in English and Thai. Burmese would be advantageous
  8. Proficiency in quality management tools and software

We are a British-owned company specializing in toy manufacturing across Asia, and we are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Manager (QA / QC) based in Thailand (Chonburi). In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured in Thailand meet company quality standards. This position requires close collaboration with regional and UK management, vendors, factories and production teams to implement quality control processes and oversee testing and inspections.Working time: Monday to Saturday (as per vendor factory hours)Location: Chonburi, with regional travel required e.g. Cambodia
