The Production Manager oversees all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring efficient production operations, maintaining quality standards, optimizing resource utilization, and supervising personnel to meet production goals in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, and control all production activities to achieve output, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Develop and implement production schedules, allocate resources, and monitor workflow to meet deadlines.
• Supervise, train, and mentor production staff; evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to safety, health, and environmental policies and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with quality assurance, maintenance, supply chain, and other departments to resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and initiate improvement projects to maximize productivity and reduce waste.
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare regular performance and status reports for management.
• Oversee inventory management for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Manage production budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources.
