Gymboree Play classes offer a progression of developmentally-appropriate classes for children, newborn to 5 years. Activities are designed to support the development of physical, intellectual and social skills in a group play environment. Parents participate with their children in a variety of developmentally-appropriate play activities to help set the stage for their childs continued healthy development.
In Gymboree Music classes, children explore rhythm, beat, tempo, melody and other musical building blocks through singing, playing instruments and movement activities. Every three weeks, children experience songs, singing games and recorded music activities featuring a different musical style such as jazz, Latin and classical. Gymborees active approach provides parents and children aged 6 months to 5 years a fun and positive experience that builds a firm foundation of musical skills to grow on.
In 2003, Gymboree introduced its new Arts classes. In a Gymboree Arts class, children paint, draw, sculpt, create and discover a world of hands on learning. Children 18 months to 5 years take home their artistic creations, gain a positive means for self-expression and leave with an enhanced creative spirit.
All Gymboree programs are led by Gymboree class leaders who come from various background. Even though bachelor degree is required, the main teacher qualification are singing abilities, English proficiency and abilities to lead activities.
