Mazda Powertrain Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd.,(MPMT) is the powertrain plant which is located approximately five kilometers north of Mazda's joint venture production facility, Auto Alliance (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (AAT) in Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (ESIE) Rayong, with an annual production capacity of approximately 520,000 units of Transmission and 100,000 units of Engine.
MPMT supplies SKYACTIV-DRIVE automatic transmissions and SKYACTIV Engine both gasoline and diesel for SKYACTIV models produced at AAT and also exports SKYACTIV-DRIVE automatic transmissions to other Mazda vehicle production facilities around the world.
MPMT is one of key footprint for Mazda to enhance Mazda's global production strategy.
