KOICA is the sole government agency responsible for Korean government’s bilateral grant aid programs and technical assistance programs under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea. Beside technical support and bilateral cooperation, KOICA office in Thailand is also operating the invitation programs to Thai officials for training course in Korea and dispatching Korea Overseas Volunteers to partner organizations in Thailand. KOICA dispatches volunteers to the Thailand in accordance with the needs of local partner organizations, taking into consideration the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, as well as development priorities of the Thailand government, and Korea’s comparative advantages.
