Vvon Sugunnasil offers a range of bespoke tailoring services to match client’s specifications and budget, as well as ready-to-wear collections, ties, socks and other accessories. The range of bespoke tailoring services include machine made bespoke, half hand bespoke, and full hand bespoke, utilizing traditional techniques as the foundation and enhanced by Thattaworn’s insights and understanding of each client’s needs.
From the moment the client enters the atelier, VVon Sugunnasil provides a sartorial experience akin to Europe’s leading heritage tailors but with a contemporary look and feel. Clients have one-on-one consultations with Thattaworn before getting their measurements taken by their appointed tailor. An individual pattern in drawn out, incorporating every little bodily nuance and posture by our experienced pattern maker. The pattern is then chalked onto cloth, cut by hand straight off the bench, and sewn together using frangible cotton in a process called basting. This becomes the “working jacket” used to make adjustments in the fitting process. The basting methodology is used in all our bespoke services as the first step to crafting a made-to-measure suit. The suit is then constructed and made according to the type of service requested by the client.
