กองทุนบำเหน็จบำนาญข้าราชการ

กองทุน บำเหน็จบำนาญข้าราชการ (กบข.) เป็นกองทุนที่รัฐจัดตั้งขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2539 ปัจจุบันมีสินทรัพย์ประมาณ 650,000 ล้านบาท ให้บริการสมาชิกกว่า 1.12 ล้านคน โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเป็นหลักประกันการจ่ายบำเหน็จบำนาญให้แก่ข้าราชการ เมื่อออกจากราชการ เพื่อส่งเสริมการออมทรัพย์ และเพื่อจัดสวัสดิการและสิทธิประโยชน์อื่นให้แก่สมาชิก รวมทั้งมีบทบาทในการช่วยแก้ปัญหาการขาดแคลนเงินออมภายในประเทศ และส่งเสริมการลงทุนอันเป็นการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและสังคมของประเทศ
